Entitled “Keep the Music Flowing”, all are welcome at this concert which will include songs from the shows, songs from parts of the British Isles and a cross section of 20th century music from America, including a couple of hits by Paul Simon.
Joining the Choir for the concert will be the Choir’s previous accompanist, Tim Sidford, who will be performing with several students he accompanies at Malvern St James. Tickets cost £10.00 (18s & under FREE) and can be bought in advance by telephoning 01684 561126 or at Burley’s Hairdressers, Worcester Road, Great Malvern. As well as the music, there will be interval refreshments.
Charles Pavey, the Choir’s conductor, commented: “We are having a busy summer and it’s good to start with a concert at our home. It will be an early summer’s evening celebration of both male voice choir singing with some inspiring performances from our guests; it will be great to welcome one of the Choir’s previous accompanists back to perform alongside us. And the Choir will be accompanied by another guest accompanist, Ruth Melhuish, so it really will be a very full evening of music performed by musicians from around the town.”
