Back to Rehearsals, and working hard!

Malvern Male Voice Choir have returned from their summer break and are back rehearsing. Their newly appointed Chairman Paul Whittaker is delighted that the new season has begun: “I think everyone enjoyed the break following a fairly intensive last six months of the year but it’s great to be back together and rehearsing for our upcoming concerts”.

Rehearsals take place every Monday evening at Holy Trinity Church in Malvern, and the choir always welcome new members. Paul noted that “We are always on the lookout for new people to join us – no previous experience needed, no audtion process, just bring bags of enthusiasm and a desire to practice hard”.

Although the Choir, under the expert musical directorship of Charles Pavey, pride themselves on the quality of their performances, they also know how to have fun and enjoy themselves.

Paul sees this as a really important ingredient. “Although we practice hard at our rehearsals we also take time out to get to know each other better and also to have some light-hearted fun. The choir is a part of the community, and we want to celebrate that.”

For anyone interested in joining the Choir, rehearsals take place every Monday evening at 19:30 at Holy Trinity Church, Malvern.
