Like the British summer, Malvern Male Voice Choir’s concerts are no sooner here than it’s the end of the season, and this year’s finale brings together three choirs for a special concert.
The Malvern Male Voice Choir will be performing on Saturday 20th June at Holy Trinity Church with St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Choir and Holy Trinity Junior Choir. The evening’s programme includes a Welsh trilogy, two musical medleys, some spirituals, a ‘pop’ hit and a couple of other classics.
Vicky Colbourne, Holy Trinity’s very own violinist, will be the guest soloist of the evening, appearing here in concert before she moves to London to start her postgraduate studies.
Charles Pavey, musical director of Malvern Male Voice Choir, said: “We are delighted to be singing alongside these two well-established younger choirs. Their energy and enthusiasm will bring much to this concert which is the final one of Malvern Male Voice Choir’s 2014-2015 season.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £9, while under 18s go free. There will be light refreshments during the interval, and also a key opportunity for audience participation. Tickets will be available on the door, but get yours in advance by calling 01684 561126. We look forward to seeing you there, and celebrating Midsummer’s Eve in style!
