Christmas Carols and Mulled Wine

Malvern Male Voice Choir has a busy Christmas schedule on Saturday 8th December when it performs at three venues.  The choir will sing carols in the open air for shoppers at Barnards Green at 10 o’clock, to the residents of Storer Court later in the morning and, finally, in concert at St Matthias Church, Malvern Link.

The Christmas Concert at St Matthias Church will be the last of ten concerts the choir has performed in this its 90th Anniversary Year.  Charles Pavey, the Choir’s Musical Director says “The Choir began the year at St Matthias in February and we are very pleased to return there to conclude what has been a very full and exciting year.”  Also performing is Somers Park Primary School Choir so a varied programme of seasonal songs and carols is guaranteed.  This early, joyful Christmas celebration includes an opportunity for audience participation and seasonal food and drink to finish.

The Christmas Concert at St Matthias, Church Road, Malvern Link, starts at 2.30pm.  Tickets, which cost £7 and include mulled wine and mince pies, can be purchased in advance from Margaret Topham on 01684 561796 (Sally Britain 01684 564307); any still remaining can be purchased on the door.
